INDUSTRIAL EXPERTISE
Very attached to its home territory, ERARD continually invests in its Chavanoz factory, located in the north of the Isère department, 40 minutes from Lyon.
All the industrial know-how essential to its production is grouped there:
- metal cutting welding robots
- powder paint line
- zinc plating workshop
- assembly and packaging workshops,
- storage of finished products.
CENTRALIZED AND INTEGRATED LOGISTICS
The stock of finished products integrated within the ERARD factory makes it possible to optimize the logistics chain, by integrating the production and distribution processes from the first stages of manufacturing. This approach helps improve operational efficiency and ensure good product availability.

CAPABILITIES TO DESIGN SPECIFIC AND UNIQUE CABLES!
Since the origin of the company, we have supported our integrator and industrial partners in the search for solutions for perfect transmission of audio-video and IT signals, whatever the applications. This results in the production of wiring plans, then samples or pre-series which are tested and validated in real conditions of use.
IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURE
Our workshop, located in Vendée, is equipped with the most recent cable cutting and preparation machines which will be used to manufacture cables and sub-assemblies. We also have the capacity to machine all materials, whether plastics, aluminum or steel. This allows us to offer tailor-made faceplates and patch panels, regardless of the connectors and signal type.
Mastery of microwelding
The manufacture of cables is above all a question of know-how and expertise in microwelding operations which are carried out, internally, by duly trained and experienced operators. And for each cable made in our workshops, we check the continuity and integrity of the signal.
SOURCING AND TRADE OF CONNECTION SOLUTIONS
SUPPLIER SELECTION
All technical and environmental compliance tests are carried out as part of our quality process. They meet European standards and regulations: CE, LVD, EMC, ErP, RED, ROHS, REACH, etc.
QUALITY AND CONFORMITY OF PRODUCTS
In accordance with our CSR policy, the producing factories are audited and meet the ethical and environmental standards resulting from the most demanding international standards: BSCI, SA 8000, SMETA, etc.
RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING, IN FRANCE
In accordance with regulations resulting from the AGEC law (anti-waste law for a circular economy), we use recycled materials to reduce the impact of our packaging. And all the packaging stages are carried out in our workshop in Fontenay-le-Comte (85): printing and forming of cardboard boxes, visual inspection before closing the containers, storage of finished products.
TESTS AND CONTROLS
Electronic boxes and professional cables are 100% tested before shipping. A sampling control is carried out, based on the international AQL standard, for all packaged and shipped products.
